The Turbidity Sensor has an infrared light emitter at its tip, which is invisible to human eyes. It detects the amount of particles in the water by measuring the light transmission and scattering rate. The more particles there are, the higher the turbidity of the water.


The Turbidity Sensor can send the measurement data to the microcontroller through digital or analog signals from the pins on the attached electronic module.


The Turbidity Sensor can be used in projects that involve monitoring the water turbidity in rivers, lakes, streams, reservoirs, research sites, laboratories, liquid tanks and more. It has a waterproof tip that can directly contact the water.
