Description:
The TSOP1738 is an infrared receiver module designed to detect infrared light signals modulated at a frequency of 38kHz. This specific frequency is very common in IR remote control applications, making the TSOP1738 highly versatile.   
It integrates a PIN photodiode and a preamplifier into a single package, along with an internal filter to suppress ambient light interference. This integration simplifies the design of IR-based control systems.   
Essentially, it receives the infrared light emited from a infrared led, that is modulated at 38Khz, and outputs a digital signal.
